The upcoming Spring Break Beyond The Yard HBCU College Tour is from Monday, March 30, 2026 - Thursday, April 2, 2026. It lasts for 4 days and 3 nights.

The tours will be led by student ambassadors from the prospective colleges on our list:

● Clark Atlanta University

● Morehouse College

● Spelman College

● North Carolina A&T State University

● North Carolina Central University

● Norfolk State University

● Hampton University

● Virginia State University

Check-in time on Monday, March 30, 2026 will be discussed during the Mandatory Meeting Departure location: Oxon Hill Park & Ride 6710 Oxon Hill Rd, Oxon Hill, MD 20745 (Parking lot across the light from Royal Farms)

We have a strict dress code during the college tour. See below dress code for female and males: Female Attire

Bottoms:

Slacks or Khakis (absolutely no leggings or jeans)

Top:

Button down Shirt or blouse (no cleavage)

Shoes:

Comfortable shoes (absolutely no sneakers/tennis shoes)

Absolutely no baggy jeans, sneakers, ripped tees, or shirts that reveal body parts.

Male Attire Bottoms: Slacks or Khakis (absolutely no leggings or jeans) Top: Sweater or Vest, Button down or polo shirt Shoes: Comfortable shoes or all black Nike boots (absolutely no sneakers/tennis shoes) Absolutely no baggy jeans, sneakers, ripped tees, or shirts that reveal body parts.

For Photo and Video restrictions, here’s what you need to know: Students and Parents are required to grant permission to Suited 4 Success, its representatives and employees the right to take photographs and video of the student and the property in connection with the College Tour. They are required to authorize Suited 4 Success, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. Student and Parents are required to agree that Suited 4 Success may use such photographs of the students with or without their names and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as promotion, illustration, advertising, and Web content

Students will be staying in a hotel. All hotels will be shared with families during the mandatory meeting.

There will be (4) students per room - All hotels have (2) Double Queen Beds Students are allowed to choose their own roommates if they have a friend attending the tour. If they don’t know anyone attending the tour we will help them choose a roommate.

No, the college tour is open to all students who wish to attend as long as you can meet the bus.

No, the college tour is open for all students regardless of the high school they attend.

Once you process your payment, you will receive a thank you email with a Google form link where you will be required to supply all necessary information about your student within 24-hours.

This meeting is mandatory. You must mark off your calendar with NO EXCEPTIONS. You must attend the virtual meeting with your camera accompanied by a parent or guardian. Attendance is taken.
